So, what else is there to do for fun in Niigata besides spending some quality time with the family? Plenty!

One could go on a haikyo (it’s still there BTW) …

.. help out in the garden …

    I’ve seen that rice thing before, but couldn’t find it in your search. Pretty sure you have pictures somewhere on here. So your faithful audience might not be a surprised as you expect… :)

    How do you learn gardening from your Okaa-san? Do you understand gardening vocabularies in Japanese?

    Okumura-san – fortunately gardening is one of those things you can just “watch and learn”. :)
