With all the training that Naoki’s been doing lately – he needs to replace those lost electrolytes. What better way to do than then a refreshing Japanese sports drink?

Yes – Pocari Sweat – famous for its crappy name, yet simple sporty taste has been enjoyed by generations of Japanese athletes and otaku alike. While you might think such a beverage is not intended for babies – you’d be wrong. So very very wrong.

Pocari Sweat

In fact Otsuka – the company behind Pocari Sweat – has a whole Bean Stalk series of drinks designed for babies – one of which of course being Pocari Sweat.

Will Naoki like Pocari Sweat? Will it take his “game” to the next level?

Naoki reviews.

    Scott,
Cruel and unusual punishment!!! What did that poor boy do to get that treatment? What is the contact information for your local Child Services representative? Thanks for a great laugh on Easter Friday

Nice dropping in the no signal frames in the beginning. What’s the inspiration for that?

Glad he doesn’t like Pacari Sweat. I found the only remotely palatable Japanese sports drink was Aquarius.

So glad to be back in a land now where there is more than one flavor of sports drink.

George – Glad you enjoyed it! Hope you guys had a good Easter in Fredericton – we had a great one in Guam!

Jason – Thanks! Not sure exactly where I got the idea for the no signal bit… I guess I have seen similar stuff done before but can’t put my finger on it. Maybe I will have to track down some “Baby Aquarius” to see if Naoki likes that any better!

Jason T – Thanks! Wasn’t sure if you were checking my stuff out or not. :) Good to hear you liked it!
